Zonta Fashion Show

Zonta Club of Charles County announced tickets are on sale for the 27th Annual Fashion Show and Fundraiser on March 23, 2012 at the Greater Waldorf Jaycees Community Center in Waldorf, Maryland.

The theme of this year’s event is ‘Discover the Treasurers of Zonta.’ The Jaycees will be transformed into a Chesapeake Bay seascape with a 30’ sailing pirate ship. Come join us for some delicious grub and fun entertainment, featuring sassy lassies walking the plank wearing trendy styles compliments of local fashion houses, embellished with sparkling gold and silver gemstones discovered in Zonta’s treasurer chest.

“Stand tall me hearties and be counted! You’ve been invited to discover the treasurers of Zonta and your runway seat is waiting,” says Billie Stachura, Zonta Fashion Show Chair.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $55 per person and include dinner, fashions, silent auction, raffles, and a cash bar. Tickets can be purchased from local club members. Net proceeds support projects advancing the status of women locally and worldwide.

The event attracts more than 400 women to the traditionally sold out show. This year’s fundraiser is sponsored by Cambridge Cancer Center, Cambridge Pediatrics, LLC, Luxxery Cosmetic Beauty Boutique and Cosmetic Surgery, My Doctor Urgent Care and Swan Point Yacht and County Club, among others.
